Tewkesbury Town Pumas U13s V Campden Town U13s

This morning I had the pleasure of watching our Pumas U13s in their home league match against Campden Town U13s.

Pumas played well, working together to get their first win of the season! Meanwhile Campden looking to keep to their winning ways working the ball around the Pumas players.

Tewkesbury Town Pumas Corner

Tewkesbury started the match positive, with positive attacking play going through onto goal with a few early corners however, unfortunately with little success with Campden getting their defensive duties correct when needed.

With the first half ending with Campden being 1-0 up, Pumas knew that they needed to battle harder in the heat and try and break their losing streak and gain something from the game!

Pumas Chance

With the second half under way Tewkesbury started to create chances, this shot forcing the Campden keeper to make a good save forcing the ball wide for a Pumas Corner. Which unfortunately was cleared by the Campden team.

With the game coming to an end, Pumas knew they only could get a consolation goal to show for their brilliant efforts. Campden trying to keep their clean sheet and three points safe which would see them move to fifth in the league.

Tewkesbury Header

With a defender clearing the ball behind for a corner, Tewkesbury knew that they need to pull everything they had left to get something, this was a brilliant effort by the Pumas player, however just going over the bar saw Campden keep their clean sheet and taking the three points back home!

The game was a good game to watch despite Pumas losing, they sure will get to winning ways sooner rather than later!
